Winter Horseback Riding Crested Butte
 Fantasy Ranch Sleigh Rides!
Fantasy Ranch now has a new way to enjoy horses. Durring the ski season we are offering a 30 sleigh ride at the Almont Resort. The tours depart from the Almont Resort located on highway 135 half way to Gunnison. Tours are available most mornings at 10:00a.m. This is a private one horse open sleigh ride through the snow. Skiing +
 Skiing in Crested Butte offers all kinds of terrain - expert, intermediate, and beginner - and snowboarder heaven, with jumps and half-pipes. There are all kinds of activities for children at the base- ice skating, sledding - check it out at the the Adventure Center.
New! Zipline tours will start on opening day, November 23. Take your mountain adventure to new heights this summer with the Crested Butte Zipline Tour. This one of a kind adventure includes a practice area and 5 zip lines ranging in length from 200 – 300 feet connected by features or “events” such a suspended wood bridges and towering platforms. The guided zip line tour, including the five zip lines and several unique features, is an approximately one-and-one-half to two-hour-long experience.
Dog Sledding
 The Lucky Cat Dog Farm is the longest continually operating dog sled tour business in Gunnison County.
Our goal is to share with our passengers the thrill and excitement of the dog sledding experience. Our trips are designed to be fun, exciting, educational and even relaxing; amazingly, they are many things to many people.
What we do well is to create a trip for you and your family that will allow everyone to participate at whatever level they wish. If your idea of fun is to stand on the back of the sled and see the world from the Iditarod point of view, we can do that.
If you want to snuggle in the sled bag and watch the world go by while you relax to the rhythm of the dogs, we can do that also. We have trips that include lunch and trips that can be finished and get you back to ski in the afternoon.

Cross Country Skiing
 The Crested Butte Nordic Council (CBNC) serves residents of and visitors to Gunnison County throughout the winter months, offering cross-country skiing, ice skating, snowshoeing,guided tours and sledding. Our mission is to provide individuals of all ages and abilities the opportunity to learn, enjoy and improve in the sports of cross-country (Nordic) skiing and snowshoeing.
Our 50-kilometers of groomed cross-country ski trails meander through the outskirts of Crested Butte, a quaint Victorian mining town and National Historic District. Ski or snowshoe along the East River, through forest, or up the Mt. Crested Butte Recreation Path. Our trails, groomed for both classic and skate skiing, can accommodate all ability levels – novice to advanced.
Elevation Spa and Gym
 The Elevation Spa at 500 Gothic Rd. in Mt. Crested Butte, offers massage ( Swedish, hot rock, "skiier's relief", couples, sports, deep tissue, aroma and more), facials (European, gentleman's and more), and a wonderful fitness center. The fitness center offers 1 day, 1 week, or 1 month memberships, which include lockers, pool, hot tubs, steam and sauna. The fitness enter is free wth a spa treatment.
